INFRASTRUCTURE
- The State has a road network of over 27,600 km, with 24 national highways (NH) and an international airport in Hyderabad that connect it with major domestic and international markets.
- The State has an installed power capacity of over 15,800 MW, with about 42% contribution from green energy sources. There are 67 notified Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in the State.
State’s offering for the Investors
- Reimbursement of net SGST: Tax paid for first quarter is treated as deposit the tax for the subsequent payments.
- Transport Subsidy on fuel cost and freight from the sea port to the plant.
- Investment Subsidy: Investment Subsidy on plant, machinery, (and land).
- Provide manpower at our cost: TASK creates skilled workforce for Electronics sector.
- Discount on Land, Lease: Land has been given to mobile manufacturers at substantial discounts. We give subsidy on lease rentals.
- Refund of Stamp Duty: Stamp duty is refunded on completion of project.
- Power subsidy and exemption from the purview of statutory power cuts.
- Permission for three shift operations with women, based on sector.
USISPF ENGAGEMENT
- In September 2017, USISPF led a cross-sector delegation to meet with Shri KT Rama Rao, Minister of Information Technology, in Hyderabad, followed by extensive engagements in November for the Global Exhibition on Services.
- In April 2020, USISPF organized a webinar with Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries to discuss on how the state is dealing with the COVID 19 crisis and also on how US companies can provide further support to fight the pandemic.
- As part of the 3rd Annual Leadership Summit, USISPF hosted Minister of Industries, KT Rama Rao for a fireside conversation. The conversation centred around investment opportunities, ease of doing business, and business continuity issues in the state of Telangana.
